The process is almost the same as how we create reports using WebI Rich Client. Log on to BI launch pad by opening it in a web browser, as shown in the following screenshot:

After logging on to BI Launch Pad, open Web Intelligence Application from the Applications menu or from the icons under My Applications, as shown in the following screenshot:

A new tab with the WebI application will be launched. Now, click on New (Ctrl + N). A pop-up window will be opened to select a data source. Select Universe as the data source and click on OK, as shown in the following screenshot. The next steps will be the same as creating a WebI report using WebI Rich Client.
